Chris Bunting has been practicing yoga since 1993. He was drawn to hatha yoga as a means to prevent sports related injuries. By 1995 Chris had taken his first class with Bikram Choudhury and he has been hooked ever since. He completed Bikram's teacher training in 1998 and has been teaching since. Chris has taught throughout Colorado and at Bikram's studio in Los Angeles. Chris attempts to meld discipline, humor and compassion into each class.
Rebekah Bunting has been teaching Bikram’s yoga since she graduated from the teacher training in the Spring of 2000. Her yoga practice began in college as a greatly-needed balance between her studies in Biology and cross-country ski racing. It wasn’t until she took her first Bikram’s yoga class after college that she seriously considered dedicating her time to deepening her yoga practice. The incredible benefits, joys and challenges of the practice eventually compelled her to leave a full-time job and go to the teacher training.

Before coming to Bozeman, Rebekah taught extensively for studios in Basalt and Aspen, Colorado. Over the years, she has also enjoyed traveling and teaching in other areas around the country, including Bikram’s studio in Los Angeles, CA. She aspires to bring inspiration, wisdom and joy into her classes.

2002 was a difficult year – mentally and emotionally – the kind of year that you push out the door on Dec. 31 and hope, pray, wish for new beginnings on Jan. 1. Be careful what you wish for! The following January, two different friends on two different occasions told two different and equally fascinating accounts of their first Bikram yoga class. I had no choice, I had to find out, I had nothing to lose, I had nothing to begin with. So it goes...a good beginning.

2005 was another difficult year – physically – this time, I chose to embrace what I learned. In the middle of a millisecond, in the midst of a stroke, I remembered one thing, the only thing my friend – to breathe. That moment saved my life. That moment defined my path, my karma yoga. I decided I must pass it on – don’t forget to breathe. And so it continues...a good middle.

I trust that I will go deeper, but only through the form – not over, not around but through. The yoga informs my life and vice versa - preparation for a good end. I am fortunate to be on this path and blessed to be surrounded by so many others.

Now, go do your yoga.
One day while zooming past the large Magellanic Cloud during a recent galactic tour, Michael clicked his heels saying there's no place like home, there's no place like home, and found himself in halfmoon pose during one of Rebekah's classes. Hoping for the best, he locked his knees and pulled on his top hand with the bottom. A year later and still lost in space, his love for Bikram Yoga sent him packing for Los Angeles. There, in front of Bikram, he once again found himself doing Halfmoon. Bikram said "no problem boss" and dismissed him with a wave of the hand, and graduating him at the end of March, 2004. Since then, Michael has taught the Bikram method in Bozeman and other places in the U.S. He recently completed a half year tour of teaching in Singapore and Thailand, and is now helping out part time here at the home court. Always the cosmical mystic, Michael blends the quantum with the comical to keep them smiling in class.
